I've weighed putting an article up on this subject as it involves Sacramento, and not anything to do with our city or our Sonics. I recognize that there is not much we can say that is right but lots we can say wrong.
As Chris Hansen has addressed the matter I think we need to address it to so here goes, with little opinion or interpretation:
Make no mistake: this initiative will qualify," Jim Cathcart, STOP's treasurer, said in a statement. "We will obtain the required number of signatures before our deadline, and the people of Sacramento will have the right to vote on the proposed tax-based subsidy for the downtown arena."
Hansen responds via letter:
"Please do the right thing and return the signatures to me or destroy them."
