Last week could have been better for Seattle's teams -- the Huskies fell to Oregon but managed to redeem the week, at least a bit, with a blowout win at Oregon State. Meanwhile, Seattle U. lost a heartbreaker at home to Grand Canyon, 74-73.
The Redhawks (12-13) are in action tonight at the Key against Chicago State (11-16) as well as hosting Idaho (12-16) on Saturday evening. Both games begin at 7:00 P.M. Meanwhile, the Huskies (15-13) face the woeful Cougs (9-18) at Hec Ed (or whatever the Hec they call it this year) tomorrow night at 7:30. On paper, this should be an easy win for the Dawgs, but guess what happened when they visited Pullman earlier in the year? You guessed it...a rare WSU win.
The UW-WSU game will be telecast on the Pac-12 North network and carried on 950 KJR-AM. The Redhawks will have a rare television appearance Saturday night on Root; otherwise, both their games will be on KTTH-AM 770.
