How best can we as fans get through these next two weeks? Or possibly even longer as hinted by General Stern? For me, I stand by the fact that we have great leadership. I trust Chris and his ownership group. They have delivered every step of the way. Chris is a numbers man, he has looked at every scenario and has calculated this thing through. There is no one that could be better prepared. There are no holes in his purchase agreement, acquisition of land, MOU with city/county, and arena plan to be exposed. As Wilson would say, "the separation is in the preparation". He has had over 2.5 years to get to this point. Sacramento has had 40+ days. How could anyone even question who would be light-years ahead in getting their new arena built? From Stern's comments yesterday, whom ever can erect a new arena first will most likely win the Kings.

Most took Stern's comments yesterday about the possibility of this thing dragging out past the 19th as a negative thing (Sonics Side). I might be able to put a spin on that. What if Seattle's environmental impact study finishes before their decision? And it comes back positive as we all expect. I could then almost hear the shovels in the ground...almost. At least from the league's side, it would have to strengthen Seattle's side even more.

There will be so many twists and turns over the next couple of weeks. I just hope my stomach can handle it. The most important thing we can do, as fans, is to continue to have our voice be heard. To be positive and to show that we have one of the best markets in the country to support the return of the NBA.
