Super Bowl Game Thread

This is a huge day in the history of Seattle sports.

It's finally here.
It's finally here.
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

It's no secret I'm a Seahawks fan, but I honestly don't know who's going to win this game. I missed out on the staff prediction thread yesterday, so here's my official prediction: I will be crying at the end no matter how this game turns out.

The only outcome that would surprise me is a blowout in either direction.

Regardless, here is the official Super Bowl game thread of the Sonics Rising Community. Use this thread to share the game experience together. Celebrate together. Get mad together. Or perhaps taunt each other and gloat if you are rooting for different teams.

As a matter of full disclosure, watching a normal Seahawks game for me is an emotional experience. I get really excited and really angry, sometimes within the course of 30 seconds. That's a normal game. I'm not sure how I will be during today's game, but my emotional responses will likely be more ... intense.

Because of this, I will not be attending any Super Bowl parties today. I will be in the privacy of my own home where no innocent bystanders will be exposed to my lunacy. My family is used to it, so that's ok.

To be honest, I'm not even sure how much I will be on here during the game. When things aren't going well and I'm getting angry, sometimes the last thing I need is constant, real time feed back. I might just snap. The last thing anyone needs is for me to spend the night in jail, while Nesgoda spends the night in the hospital.

For the rest of you, however, I say have fun in here today.

Go Seahawks!!!
