Just thought i should share my story on how i became a Sonics fan. Feels good to talk about the SuperSonics, specially after the petition and the march 15th situation.

2 years ago, when i started watching the NBA here in Brazil, i was looking for a team to be a part of, since i really started to enjoy the game of basketball. I became a fan of the SPurs,followed by the Celtics, Bucks, Blazers and Knikcs. Neither team made me excited about being a die hard fan. I just couldnt get pumped up/excited about watching a game. So one day i decided to do some research about the history of each franchise, when i suddenly found the Seattle Supersonics.

First thing that cam to my mind: THOSE ARE AWESOME UNIFORMS. So i began to learn a little about the team and how they used to play. After watching some highlights, i absolutely fell in love with the Kemp/Payton duo. Not only that, i absolutely fell in love with how Seattle fans cheered like crazy every time they went to the arena. After all of this, i decided to watch the "Sonics Gate" doccumentary, as one of my friends said it was pretty good and showed the entire (real) story of what actually happened to the Sonics. By the end of the film i had already made my mind:This is the team i want to be a fan of. Not only was the team great, but the fans might just be veen better, and probably one of the best fanbases in NBA history. And thats how i became the 19 year old Sonics fan that i am today.

Anyways, just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys...GO SONICS!!! BRING THEM BACK!
