Its been rumored on the web, and alluded to that Sonics center Robert Swift's preseason play has been affected by a hip pointer which is limiting his mobility.
In a conversation today Swift confirmed the injury, pointing out that it occurred early in the preseason and was aggravated just prior to his start against the Houston Rockets. Swift describes the injury as "hurting so bad I could hardly walk" early on but completely healed at this point.
In a way this is good news for Sonics fans who hoped to find an explanation for Swifts uninspiring play in the preseason.
