ESPN reporting that Antonio Daniels will sign a 5 year 30 million dollar contract with the Wizards once contracts are able to be signed.
While I would have liked to see Daniels come back, that is not a contract the team could afford to match. Where they look to find a third guard becomes a serious question that needs to be addressed quickly. A couple guys I would look at are Chris Duhon of the Bulls and Earl Watson of the Grizzlies. Both are solid defenders, can handle the primary ball-handling responsibilities and have shown the ability to be able to play on the court with a PG sharing duties.
Another solution is in house with Flip Murray taking over the role. While this is not something that I would personally be in favor of it was mentioned by management as well as Coach Weiss during the last two days.
