Daily RoundUp January 24, 2006

Good morning! The dailies today focus primarily on Sunday's epic win over the Suns. The more I learn about this game, the more I'm glad I watched it.

Here's a nice piece on Robert "Bacardi" Swift from the Times. Very encouraging stuff.

Funniest new site name of the day. You go boy!

Funniest news of the day. One network, twice the crap I won't watch!

NBA draftniks take note. How high will he go?

From yesterday, Ray hints he's not interested in the Olympics. I've long thought the rewards haven't been outweighing the risks for the US men's team, and I for one think Ray's making the right choice by not attending.

Whose horn is this ... ours? Well then, TOOT!

Edit: Yahoo! is reporting Sacramento and Indiana are close to a deal that would send Ron Artest to the Kings for Peja Stojakovic. If true, I think that's a good trade for both clubs as well as being good for the Sonics, who can now along with the rest of the NBA move on with trades that have been on hold while the Artest mess got sorted out.

Edit #2: Yahoo! now reports that the trade has been quashed. Sportscenter is reporting that Artest refused to go to Sacramento.
