Swift Extension Looming

The Seattle Supersonics have another week or so to guarantee the fourth year of Robert Swift's rookie contract and all indications are that it will happen very shortly. While there may be some desire to wait until new ownership takes over to make this move the team also has some pressure to repay the young man who has worked extremely hard this offseason.

At this point in time Swift projects as the opening day starter. When should the team guarantee his fourth year and where do you project Swift's career to go from here? If you could offer him a contract extension right now what length and dollar value do you believe would be a fair offer to lock him up long term?
