Plus/Minus
Ray Allen led the way with +16 followed by Earl Watson at +14, Robert Swift at +11, Rashard Lewis +8, Johan Petro and Chris Wilcox +6, Mikki Moore +4, Damien Wilkins -2, and Luke Ridnour -8. Kevin Garnett was -18, and I think any time you can get KG into double digit negative +/- you have a very strong chance at winning.
Help Value (hv=Reb+Ast+Blk+Stl-TO)
Earl Watson with his first game of leading the Sonics in HV with +9. Moore and Allen were both +8, Ridnour +7 and Lewis and Petro were both +6.
Petro/Swift line: 36 minutes, 17 points, 9 boards (5 offensive), 5 fouls, lots of changed shots.
It's nice to hold a team under 100 points, it gives you a shot at winning. Dwayne Casey has to be a bit frustrated after his team led for the first 75% of the game and then watched the Sonics take it away from them with a 23-8 run to close the game.
Ray of course had his 38 points, but what I like to see is that there was some great passing among the big men and some easy buckets in the paint. Sonics big men accounted for 35 points tonight on 15 of 21 shooting (71.4%)!
The Sonics made more free throws than the Wolves took tonight.
