With a win tonight, the Grizzlies would sweep the season series from the Sonics for the first time in franchise history. In fact, it's the first time Memphis has so much as defeated the Sonics in a season series, with Seattle holding a 33-5 all-time record against the Grizzlies entering the season. Memphis has had a strange lock on the Sonics this season, holding them below 75 points twice, a feat only one other team (the L.A. Clippers) has achieved this season.

Battier’s 15.7 points per game against Seattle is his second-highest scoring average this season against Western Conference opponents. He’s added 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.33 blocks per game. Lewis, who averages 20.8 points per game on the season, has been kept below his season average in all three games against the Grizzlies, including an eight point night earlier this month.
