Plus/Minus
An interesting range of +/- in tonight's game. Collison +14, Petro +7, Allen and Wilkins +2, Ridnour +1, Lewis -4, Watson -7, Swift -9, Wilcox -16.

Help Value (hv=Reb+Ast+Blk+Stl-TO)
Ray Allen led the team with +12 on the back of his rebounding tonight. Swift was +9, and Petro, Lewis and Wilcox were all +8.

Swift/Petro line of the night: 41 minutes, 11 points, 17 boards, 1 block, 6 fouls.

The difference in this game was two things: 1) Turnovers - we had 12, they had 6, and 2) 3 point baskets we made 4, they made 11. The Pistons almost gave this game away at the free throw line, attempting 6 more shots, making 1 fewer. Very nice to see the rebounding advantage go the Sonics way against what is generally a very strong rebounding team.

The big 5 for the Pistons all played almost 40 minutes tonight. You have to think that at some point Flip is going to need to rest them for the playoffs. It's nice to see how well we played the Pistons, but I do think they are a bit out of synch at the moment.
