Sonics Announce Summer League Roster

SEATTLE SONICS ANNOUNCE SUMMER LEAGUE

ROSTER AND SCHEDULE

SEATTLE – The Seattle SuperSonics today announced the team’s roster and schedule for their participation in the Rocky Mountain Revue scheduled for July 14-21 in Salt Lake City.

Among the players on the Sonics summer league team are all three selections from the 2006 NBA Draft – forward/center Mouhamed Sene (first round, 10th pick overall), guard Denham Brown (second round, 40th pick overall) and guard Yotam Halperin (second round, 53rd pick overall). Sonics veteran Noel Felix will also be participating.

“I always enjoy summer league play,” said Sonics Head Coach Bob Hill. “Summer league games take place in more of a relaxed atmosphere, but the players know they need to play their best. With this year’s three draft picks and Sonics veteran Noel Felix, we have four players that need to show us what they have.”

In addition to the Sonics, the Rocky Mountain Revue features entries from the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz. The Sonics begin summer league play July 14 vs. Philadelphia. The Rocky Mountain Revue schedule consists of three games per day, with every team playing six total games.
