No NBA games today, so get your football fix. When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants (and belts with at least two notches still unused).
Today I want to give thanks for a few things, and let you all chime in as well.
First, I'd like to thank everyone who visits and comments at SonicsCentral.com. You are what makes the site. In a season which will likely have few bright spots on the court, having a bunch of other passionate fans to share the pain with makes the road so much easier to travel.
Second, I'd like to thank everyone who is working hard to keep the Sonics in Seattle. Especially Brian, Steve, Scott and Xteve. You guys are carrying the torch for so many others. Keep up the good fight, it is worth it. Also thanks to those who have donated their time, finances, and skills to SOS&S.
Third, I'd like to thank the "ping-pong balls" that brought us Kevin Durant. I know you're struggling some right now, but I can see it - your potential - and it excites me to think how you will be playing just a few short years from now.
Fourth, I'd like to thank the men and women who are serving our country and are unable to be at home with family today. While I might not always agree with everything our government does, you have my unwavering support for your efforts on my behalf. It is appreciated, and may you all come home safely.
Finally, I'd like to thank my wife. You tolerate my blogging about the Sonics and working on this site, even though you don't share my enthusiasm for all things Green and Gold. Thanks!
So what are you thankful for today?
