Community Rallies to Support Sonics Move to Renton during All-day Festivities at Willows Run Golf Complex

WHAT: Seattle Sonics and Storm fans from throughout the Puget Sound are invited to participate in the Sonics Bash 2007 at Willows Run Golf Course to rally behind a common cause – keeping Seattle’s cherished NBA/WNBA franchises in our local community. Dressed in green and gold, hundreds of Sonics and Storm supporters will play $3.85 rounds of golf, enjoy $0.79 hot dogs and beer, and enter for a chance to win one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia and Sonics tickets during the all-day festivities. Part of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Save Our Sonics non-profit organization.
Special promotions and attractions during the Sonics Bash 2007 event include:
• Best dressed fans to win coveted seats to upcoming Sonics games (all golf players must be dressed in green and gold to participate)
• All rounds of golf, cart rentals and buckets of golf balls for $3.85 (Sonics’ current winning percentage)
• Hot dogs and Miller High Life beer for $0.79 (Sonics’ championship year)
• First 200 Sonics and Storm fans to receive Tiger Woods posters
• Nike putting, chipping and long drive contests with prizes
• Save Our Sonics T-shirts for $3.85 (proceeds to benefit Save Our Sonics organization)
• Raffle prizes including Robert Swift autographed jersey, Nick Collison sneakers, autographed posters, Nike drivers and more!
