2/20/07 Box Score: Sonics 121 Grizzlies 105

The unofficial box score from tonight's game and PopcornMachine's GameFlow.

Happy Fat Tuesday. No, I'm not throwing you beads for that...

Rashard Lewis - Grizzly killer. Rashard has to wish that we played them every night. 34 points on 13 of 25 from the floor, 3 of 7 on 3pt. shots, and 7 rebounds. Rashard we've really missed you. Following the game Rashard stated that he isn't 100% yet, but that he is really beginning to feel the flow again.

All 5 starters in double figures. Ray Allen had a very nice game. Luke Ridnour played very well. Chris Wilcox and Nick Collison combined for 23 points, 29 rebounds. The only smudge on the starters was Wilcox's 3-10 from the floor. Again, the short amount of time for Gelabale is of moderate concern, but hopefully it is for the right reason.

I remember wondering on draft day if Rudy Gay was the right move for the Griz. I'm prepared to say now that I think it was. He's really coming along, and has what appears to be a bright future ahead. It will be interesting to see if Gasol remains on this team. If he stays, they are going to have to move Mike Miller, because he is really their only other piece of value trade wise to rebuild this team. Gay is valuable, but A) They're not getting rid of him and B) his low contract makes it tough to deal him. Mike Miller and a the Griz draft pick could be VERY enticing to someone.

Plus/Minus
Luke Ridnour +25, Nick Collison +23, Ray Allen +22 - Great +/- numbers for most of the team. Earl Watson at -10 though isn't good.

Help Value (hv=Reb+Ast+Blk+Stl-TO)
4 players in double digits. This is a first since I have been tracking this for the Sonics. Luke Ridnour +19, Chris Wilcox +18, Nick Collison +16, and Ray Allen +13.
