Daily Roundup 3.27.07

And on microphone, the l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-lovely, the l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-lovely...Cher!

H-h-hhi Sonics fans, Max Headroom here. R-r-r-r-remem/memer/remember m-m-me? Y-your regularly scheduled Daily Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroundup Wrrrrrrrrrriter had a guitar lesson this morning and is taking a little rest between bars, if you know what I mean. S-s-s-s-s-so I'm filling in for him.

Just reminding you kids out there of your two Supersonic patriotic duties today....go here and vote for the Sonics dance team to beat the pants off the T-Wolves dance squad.

Y-y-y-y-y-yes I mean that literally. W-w-wouldn't that be a sight for eyesores, er, sore eyes.

T-then you want to ch-ch-chiggy check out the main event tonight vs. the Twolves. Starting at five PM tonight, that one is so d-d-d-don't get upset if the game is almost over by the time you fight your way through that ol' traffic. We get the s-s-same thing here in digital land but it's mostly confined to websurfing at lunchtime. Mostly.

This headline g-gets the No S@#&^@ Sherlock Award For Today. Uh, C-can I say that on live TV?

F-f-f-f-f-frank Hughes f-f-f-f-fills you in on everything you wanted to know about the new arena. Th-th-th-that's all folks!!!

Hey fellas: Steve here. In a serious note I want to direct you to Supersonicsoul's page and specifically their piece on Bill the Beerman who passed away from complications due to colon cancer at age 58. In real life I do a lot of work with cancer care and prevention and colon cancers are one of the most preventable forms of cancer due to its slow rate of metastasizing, which make Bill's death all the sadder as most colon cancers are preventable if found early enough. If you have a history of colon cancer in your family GET IT CHECKED OUT.

For information on colon cancer screening check here. If you are over age 50 or have family members that are I urge you to tell them to make that screening part of their yearly checkup. Thanks for the eartime and on with your regularly scheduled debate ...
