If you need a respite from arena stuff or the general lack of NBA news ... may I remind you that the long-awaited DVD release of the 1980 version of Flash Gordon comes out today.
Sci-fi was never campier or cooler than in this flick, which is chock full of quotable lines, has one of the all-time great movie soundtracks by Queen, and of course the delectable Ornella Muti as Princess Aura...who can invade my planet anytime ... run don't walk, it's taken 27 years to finally give this a decent release!
