Rep. Mike Hope, R-Lake Stevens, and Rep. David Frockt, D-Seattle: Pick me!

In a fit of shameless self promotion I am pretty sure, at least I think, I fit the "others" category.

Now Rep. Mike Hope, R-Lake Stevens, and Rep. David Frockt, D-Seattle, say they want to get another team “without affecting the tax rates of Washington residents.” They say they’re going to create a task force of lawmakers and others this summer to determine what kind of legislation would help facilitate that.

With our team now excelling in Oklahoma City, it is important to begin to think outside the box on how to get a new version of the Sonics,” Frockt said in a statement. “We are working diligently to finalize a very difficult budget in Olympia right now, so this is not at the forefront of what we are doing, but something that deserves renewed attention after the session.”

Lawmakers want to develop "a plan" to bring NBA back.

Come on Rep. Frockt, I live in the 46th Legislative District (and I'm a Sonics fan the knows what a Legislative District is). I can't really think of anybody else that has followed the bills over the past few years any closer than I have.

You can contact me at my personal blog, Many Words for Rain.

I am pretty sure I can find people willing to vouch for me, somewhere.

While I look for those people, I have conveniently written your email address right here, so, I don't for get how to get in contact with both of you.
