Keep going, Mavs!

Mavs take a series 3 to 1 lead over the Blunder with a shocker tonight. The Mavs have won two on the OKC floor, and look forward to closing out the series.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 40 points, Jason Kidd hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 40 seconds left in overtime and the Dallas Mavericks overcame a 15-point deficit in the final 5 minutes of regulation to stun the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-105 on Monday night and take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference finals.

It is tough for any team to recover from a 15 point meltdown with 5 minutes to go in a game, but a young team in the WCF, on their own floor, crushing.

Over the past few years the Mavs have found a way to fit a few veterans around Dirk Nowitzki. In games like this when you make a late surge like that to tie in regulation, and then win by 7 (a 22 point swing in 10 minutes), it takes an effort younger teams stubble to pull off.
