August? Our goal is to finish the review before the Council's August recess.

August is later than June (that's for the fringe sports fans). The point being made is that they do not see this dragging on, and are planning on keeping this inside the current session for the city council. They take a break in August (I do to).

Thanks for your e-mail. Here is what I've sent to people who emailed us about the 4-6 month timeframe report:

"The KUOW report has caused some reaction and we want to clear the record - KUOW has posted a correction. Our goal is to finish the review before the Council's August recess. Soon we'll publish a draft review schedule showing our committee dates and giving a sense why it will last past June. Among the constraining factors is the legal requirement for 30 days notice in advance of a public hearing on the proposal."

I think this corrected info has mostly gotten out there now - I know a few folks have reposted it in comment threads. (That's when I realized they probably weren't seeing what I attempted to post.)

Yes, "Van Duzer" does sound like an alias, but we are all going to somehow get past that, for now.

When "soon" turns into a real plan (plans have dates and resources) then I will post it.
