That's today, isn't it?
Christopher Hansen, the private investor who has presented a proposal to construct a new arena in Seattle’s Stadium District, will meet with the Council’s Budget and Fiscal Management Committee TUESDAY, JUNE 19. The meeting will start at 1:30 p.m.
This will be Hansen’s first meeting with one of the two Councils that will vote on the memorandum of understanding negotiated between Hansen, County Executive Constantine and Mayor McGinn to construct a facility with the ability to host NBA and NHL teams.
Committee members will also have their first meeting with the independent panel created to provide the Council independent analysis of the plan. Appointed by Budget Chair Joe McDermott, the members of the panel are experts in economics, public finance, public-private partnerships, labor, urban development and transportation.Â
