Finally the NBA season is back and there probably isn't a better game to get the season started off than the Chicago Bulls and the defending, two-time champion, Miami Heat. Well maybe, throw in the Pacers, but they get the honor of playing against Victor Oladipo and the Orlando Magic on opening night.

We'll just have to settle for the return of Derrick Rose after his 550 day sabbatical from basketball going to Miami to play against the best player alive.

The Heat are getting their rings tonight and raising their third banner. While their most hated rival stands a few feet away to watch them.

The crowd is going to be nuts (as they can be in Miami), the Bulls are going to come out swinging (probably literally) and this is going have a playoff atmosphere.

I'm writing this from work with my boss walking around, so I have to cut this short. Tomorrow night will be better.

BALL NIGHT!!!
