Remembering the Legend of Joseph Forte

He had such a sweet jumper.

Joseph Forte was supposed to be this hot shooting guard from North Carolina.  He joins other UNC can't miss prospects such as Ed Cota, Rashad McCants and the infamous Shammond Williams.

Forte played in only 17 games for the Sonics, averaging a whopping 1.8 points per game.  He say on average 5.2 minutes a game, but only during blow outs.  He had some attitude problems, clashed with coaches.  Then during an east coast road trip ended up being arrested for gun and drug charges in his native Maryland.

That pretty much ended his NBA career.  He played in mostly Europe after that.  He is currently in the Iranian League.

We needed to get off the whale talk for a bit.
