These rumors are heating up. There is now a disclosed ownership group, like Hansen young owners in their 40's and we have confirmation that our Mayor Mike McGinn has had discussions with NHL Commissioner Bettman.

Despite it all the ball (puck?) is still in Glendale's court. There have been agreed upon terms that basically require an up or down vote by city council. At the end of the day it seems as if their council will simply be weighing the economic cost of their decision. Will subsidizing the Coyotes be a greater burden on the city budget than having an empty building?
I ask Sonics fans whether the NHL arriving is a strong indicator of our NBA future? If it happens does that impact your confidence in the NBA's arrival?
