Spencer Hawes of the Philadelphia 76ers, Isaiah Thomas of the Sacramento Kings, Quincy Pondexter and Tony Wroten of the Memphis Grizzlies were all fined $15,000 for playing in the first annual University of Washington. For some reason free agent, Nate Robinson and Toronto Raptors guard, Terrence Ross were not fined.
According to the league's new collective bargaining agreement players cannot play in unsanctioned games before July 1 or after September 15th.
Oh David Stern, why do you continue to punish Seattle when there was free agent tampering happening everywhere that went unpunished?
