Dow Constantine on meeting with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman

King County Executive Dow Constantine had this to say in regards to the meeting with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman:

"I want to thank Commissioner Bettman for flying out to see us. I was pleased to have the chance to meet with him in my office, and to reiterate our strong interest in bringing NHL hockey to King County."

This is not an "Abandon all hope ye who enter here..." type of response by Dow.  A lot of work is still being done.

This is far from over, but it is, was, and will be a long process.  Keep your heads up.

Just a note: told #NHL commish Bettman and the prospective #Seattle owners met in 2 separate meetings with Mayor Murray + Dow Constantine.
