We all know how we feel about Steve Ballmer stepping away from the Hansen group and purchasing the Clippers to keep them in Los Angeles. But how do others feel?
Twitter is blowing up on the subject and here are some samples.
Just read @CBSSports reporting 37 minutes ago Ballmer to buy Clips for $2B. Sounds like what I've heard as well. Note: Can't confirm yet.

@MyJellyLegs @sonicsman I honestly don't think that's the case. Seattle now has major advocate for Seattle at the Board of Governors level.

NBA teams sold since 2011: Clippers ($2B), Bucks ($550M), Kings ($534M), Raptors, Grizzlies ($377M), Pelicans ($340M), 76ers ($287M)

Not happening. RT @beatsbydre: Billions with a B, Steve Ballmer in talks to buy the LA Clippers. pic.twitter.com/GNsn95Rcbx

Ballmer would become the richest majority owner in major American sports. Man who held that title? His former boss Paul Allen.

If Steve Ballmer is paying $2B for Clippers, then what's the expansion fee for a Seattle franchise?
— Percy Allen (@percyallen) May 29, 2014
Apparently Ben Reiter and JT the Brick think Ballmer is moving the team. Based on?? "@Shawn_206: @JasonPuckettKJR http://t.co/xhJ9QMDCqM"

There is now a signed, binding agreement between Ballmer and the Sterling family trust to sell the Clippers for $2billion, ESPN has learned
— Ramona Shelburne (@ramonashelburne) May 30, 2014
Ballmer's agreement will go straight to the NBA for final approval, source tells ESPN.

In other words, the signed binding agreement btwn the Sterling family trust & Ballmer for $2b does not need another sign-off from Donald.

Great pt by Attorney @VanWagoner: NBA likely only approves sale if Sterling signs release of any past, present & future legal claims v. NBA.
