This series is about two things: legacy and revenge.
It's about legacy because Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs are trying to put a cherry on top of an established NBA dynasty, while LeBron James and the Miami Heat are trying to build one. The Spurs are looking for their fifth title and the Heat are gunning for number three.
It's about revenge, because the Spurs had the championship in their grasp last season, but the Heat snatched it away with extreme prejudice.
Duncan likes his team's chances and recently said "we'll do it this time."
