Following the KeyArena RFP open house at KEXP on Thursday, May 11th, come on down for a get-together with the legendary Reign Man at a fun event afterwards.
Prolific actor and director Michael Rapaport -- best known for films like Cop Land, True Romance, Beautiful Girls, and Special, and TV roles in Boston Public, Prison Break, and Justified -- will bring the live tour of his podcast show, "I Am Rapaport: Stereo Podcast," to the Triple Door on Thursday at 7:30pm.
The acerbic Rapaport, who is about as genuine, raw, unpredictable, and funny as it gets, is also a huge hoops fan. He's looking forward to talking NBA and more with his special guests Shawn Kemp and comedian Adam Ray.
The open house lasts from 5pm to 8pm. The Rapaport show starts at 7:30pm so you can hop on down from Seattle Center afterward to enjoy the show. It's a chance to have a drink and chat with other Sonics fans, including our own Brian Robinson.

Is there a bar or space to hang out there or nearby after the show?
I’m skeptical I’ll be back downtown from the open house in time to make it for the show at 7:30.
If not there, I suggest Blarney Stone right up 1st.

If you purchase tickets to the show, you can call ahead to have them hold your seats for you if you’re going to arrive late.

I meant I expect to still be at the open house and observing the Chris Brown concert traffic debacles well into the show, so I don’t foresee getting a ticket and walking in at the very end. But if there’s any post-event beers there or nearby, I’ll get there.
