Dear Seattle Supersonics fans, I know how you feel. The pain of being a real fan through thick and thin and having your heart ripped out in return. I know how it feels to see the team you love walk around in OKC and having to hear people say they are better off there. The only reason I still have my team is because of George Shinn's vain attempt to seem commited to New Orleans. And........ then he quit on us and offered to sell the team to highest bidder. My heart sunk, and my soul was crushed, because it truly seemed like my team was going away. But our fans and corporate sponsors refused to quit. We bought season tickets, introduced a wildly popular PR campaign, and kept the team alive. As we waited for a new owner, our star, Chris Paul left, and it felt like all of that work had been made worthless. Everything pointed to the team moving, every city who wanted a team was moving in and the only people who seemed willing to buy were California billionaires. But out of nowwhere, Tom Benson became our savior. He purchased the team and ever since then we have had the most stable ownership we've ever had and our team was safe. The same can happen to you in Seattle. Not exactly the same story, but with enough heart and enough fight, a fanbase can get what they want. Believe in Chris Hansen, he will fight for you.
