im not trolling you guys but I honestly have a serious question to pose to you guys. What if back when Shultz was selling the team, Some super rich guy (lets call him Mr. A) came in and said, i'll buy your team for 500 million dollars. Now after signing the agreement with this guy, he immediately filled for relocation to Mexico city. Now obviously your city would step up and try and put forth an ownership group to buy this team as well. Let's say HBN group steps up and tells the NBA " we want the team to stay here, so we are going to match this offer set forth by Mr. A" for 500 million. Everyone in Seattle cheers and high fives each other because they now have a chance. NOW, let's say the NBA says to the HBN group, "you know what guys, we don't want to move the Sonics to mexico, we are going to go ahead and decline the relocation to Mexico City, we want to keep the sonics here" At this point Mr. A say's " I will now offer 1 billion dollars for this team" ~end of scenario~ Looking at this situation, and this situation only, what do you guys honestly think about what Mr. A has done? would you be scared Mr. A has done this? I mean honestly, what would you guys think in this situation? if you can honestly say that Mr. A deservers the team and should be able to move them to Mexico City, then I would say you'd be a very rare breed of person.. my only point is that, before you guys jump up and down and high five each other over HBN upped bid, just remember that money isn't everything, especially when all we've heard so far, is that money ISNT everything in this situation..
