Up in Toronto tonight the Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors engaged in the best game of the evening. Former teammates at the University of Washington Isaiah Thomas and Terrence Ross were representing the 206 in this game and both had very nice outings. Thomas had the better shooting night, hitting on 60% from field and a cool 67% from three, totaling 16 points. Ross struggled a bit more from the floor, but his team ultimately got the win.
Random fact for those of you who check this out, but not much else:
The Toronto Raptors are currently tied with the Memphis Grizzlies at 11-2 for the best record in the NBA.
Jamal Crawford continues to add to his resume as a MV2(06er) (Most Valuable 206er) candidate. Another great shooting night for J-Crossover, as he and the Clippers rolled up on Marvin Williams and the Hornets in Charlotte tonight. Spencer Hawes went scoreless in 9 minutes, but he did have four personal fouls.
In the only other game that pitted NW boys together, Joe Harris and his 0-2 shooting for the Cleveland Cavaliers beat Luke Ridnour and his five points, for the Orlando Magic. I might have to get an interview with Joey Buckets, the pride of Chelan, WA. Not sure how many people from the 509 have made the association.

You have to feel for Tony Wroten. The guy is out there busting his ass every night for what could potentially be the worst professional basketball team ever assembled. You may have forgotten that he wasn't drafted by the 76ers, he was actually drafted by the Grizzlies. He was shipped to Philly after his rookie season for a future 2nd round pick (a pick yet to be used) and a trade exception. Wroten is the only player in NBA history to record a triple-double in their first career start.
I wonder how much better Memphis would be with Wroten as their starting two guard over Courtney Lee. Thoughts?
