Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that point guard Kyle Lowry is staying put.
Lowry and the Toronto Raptors agreed on a new four-year, $48 million contract. Lowry had been pursued by his former team, the Houston Rockets, as well as the Miami Heat. In the end, it appeared Lowry wanted the money and/or perhaps he is happy with the direction the team is headed in. It would be hard not to be, with GM Masai Ujiri building a young team that won the Atlantic Division last year.
Lowry's deal includes an early termination option after year three. This could possibly spell the end of Grevis Vasquez up north.
