Seattle hockey: Seattle Sin Bin season 2 premier

We discuss the events of the off-season, local arena politics, and the seasons thus far for the local WHL and college teams.

We like hockey
We like hockey

The hiatus is over. We just couldn't take it any more, so it's time to launch the second season of the Seattle Sin Bin podcast! In this episode, your hosts talk about what has transpired since we last talked. From what happened with the failure to apply for NHL expansion to the latest news on the arena, Paul and Otto talk it out. We also discuss our expanded coverage of hockey in the region.

We also welcome two guests to the show. First up is Lorenzo Villalobos, who is our beat writer for the Washington Huskies hockey team. He discusses the season so far, as well as the effort to take the program Division I.

We also bring in venerable Sonics Rising writer Mike Baker to discuss his latest article about the upcoming Seattle City Council election as it relates to the SoDo arena proposal.

EXPANDED COVERAGE

We just want to remind you all that we have dramatically increased our coverage of hockey in the Pacific Northwest. We're not just a podcast any more.

As such, we now have beat writers for each of the WHL teams in the US Division, as well as for the Huskies. We will continue to cover the pursuit of an NHL franchise for Seattle, and will also provide more coverage on the NHL in general this season.
