Week 19 is here and that means there are just a couple of weeks left before most leagues begin their playoffs. Are you ready? Here's what I have for you this week!
Teams with four games this week are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards.
Every other NBA team has three games on their schedule this week.
Week 19 Waiver Wire Options
Point Guard/Shooting Guard: Langston Galloway and the Knicks have four games this week and even though Galloway is currently coming off the bench over the past five games he's averaging 30 minutes a night. During those five games he's averaging 8.4 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists and knocked down 1 triple per game. Galloway shot a solid 42 percent from the floor and a not so solid 66 percent from the line and is available in just over 70 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.
Small Forward/Power Forward; Robert Covington and the 76ers have four games this week and if you need triples over the past five games Covington has been averaging nearly 2 of them to go along with 11 points, 6 rebounds and nearly 2 steals a night. Over that same five game span Covington shot 36 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the line and is available in just over 50 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.
Shooting Guard: Gerald Henderson and the Trail Blazers have four games this week and over the past five games Henderson has made the most of his 28 minutes per night averaging 13.8 points, 5 rebounds an assist and a steal plus 1 triple a night. Over that same five game stretch Henderson shot 53 percent from the floor and 77 percent from the line and is available in just over 80 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.
Point Guard/Shooting Guard: Marcus Smart and the Boston Celtics have three games this week and during the past five games Smart is averaging 11.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals AND 2.2 triples a night while playing 26.2 minutes a game. During that same stretch Smart is shooting 40 percent from the floor and 85 percent from the line and is available in just over 50 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.
Small Forward: Luol Deng and the Heat have five games and with Heat players dropping like flies the Heat will be looking to Deng for more production. Over the past five games Deng is averaging 13.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and just over a triple a night. During that same five game span Deng averaged 31 minutes a night, shot 47 percent from the floor and 72 percent from the line. The Heat has four games this week and Deng is available in just over 60 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.
Shooting Guard/Small Forward: Terrence Ross and the Raptors have four games this week and over the past five games Ross is averaging 13.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2 triples a night while playing 28 minutes per game. During that same stretch Ross shot 50 percent from the floor, 71 percent from the line and picked up the occasional assist and steal and is available in just over 85 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.
