Son of Sonics legend Gary Payton (and Seattle native) Gary Payton II of the Oregon State Beavers has won his second consecutive Conference Defensive Player of the Year award. He is only the third Beaver to win the award (guess who was the first), and the first to win it two years in a row. Congratulations, Gary!
