The Team Store for the city without a team

Simply Seattle is keeping the dream alive with Sonics merch

The NBA is coming back to Seattle.

It’s not the Sonics and not the regular season, but it’s as close as we’ll get. Everyone interested in getting the Sonics back will be there including one of the two remaining players who are still in the league and actually wore the green and gold.

As you probably know by now, the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings will be playing Friday, October 5th at Key Arena. It’s the first NBA game in Seattle in over 10 years. Tickets sold out in an hour as fans know that this is a chance to show the country, the world and the NBA how much Seattle supports basketball.

Now the question becomes what to wear to the game?

There have been many places that have filled the apparel void that we’ve had in Seattle since 2008, but few businesses have been as proactive and consistent as Simply Seattle. They have provided free shirts supporting bringing back the Sonics, getting an arena being built, both in SoDo and Lower Queen Anne, and been celebrating Seattle sports for years.

Most recently, Simply Seattle opened the “World’s Largest Supersonics Store” in Pioneer Square after holding down local Sonics fans on the Waterfront for years. It is 100% worth checking out.

Nestled across the park from the Underground Tour, the space has the feel of the team store with something for everyone.

There are the Mitchell and Ness Throwback Jerseys:

The free t-shirts for the movement:

The re-released player specific shoes:

The region specific t-shirts and much, much more.

And an ownership group that does everything they can to support bringing a NBA team back to Seattle.

Come down and pick up some new gear for the game next month and for when we actually bring the Sonics back.

At the very least, check out the new store in Pioneer Square for your free shirt and 15% off your order with the code: RISING.
