Fantasy Basketball: Seven Deadly Waiver Wire Options for Week Four

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Phil gives Fantasy Basketball owners seven waiver wire options for Week four of the Fantasy Basketball season.

Week four of the Fantasy Basketball season begins Monday November 16th, 2015. This is usually the week when I begin looking at the players I have drafted and how they are performing, how they fit in with their NBA teams rotations and most importantly how these players are going to help me win my league.

This week I have seven waiver wire options that I feel will help you win your league.....so let's get after it!

Teams with four games this week include the Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors.

The Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards each have two games this week.

Every other NBA team has three games this week.

Week Four Waiver Wire Options

SG: Marcus Thornton and the Houston Rockets have 4 games this week and Thornton has been spectacular so far this season. Over the past 5 games Thornton is averaging 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2 steals including 2.6 triples a night. Now that Terrence Jones is working his way back into the rotation this might be the last week where Thornton gets these kind of minutes so grab him this week. Thornton is available in just over 50 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

PG: T.J McConnell and the 76ers have 4 games this week and if you need assists than McConnell is your man. Over his last 5 games he's averaging 9.2 assists, 5.8 points and 5.4 rebounds while getting 31 minutes a night. He's also averaging just over 1 steal per game this season and is available in just over 60 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

C: Zaza Pachulia and the Dallas Mavericks have 4 games this week and Pachulia is averaging nearly a double double this season. Over his last 5 games he's averaging 9.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per night while getting just over 26 minutes per game. He's also solid from the field (48.5 %) and from the line (88 %) and is available in just over 60 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

SF: Jae Crowder and the Celtics have 4 games this week and if you need steals Crowder is your man. Over his past 5 games Crowder is averaging nearly 4 steals a game with 9.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1 triple a game in 29.1 minutes of action. Crowder is available in over 70 percent of all Major Fantasy Hockey leagues and probably can win your steals category all by himself.

SF/PF: Andre Iguodala and the Warriors have 4 games this week and if you need a little bit of everything this week Iguodala Over his last 5 games Iguodala is averaging 10.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.6 steals and almost 2 triples a night while getting 28 minutes a game. Excellent from the field (62%) and mediocre from the line (66%) and he's available in just over 50 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

PG/SG: Langston Galloway and the Knicks have 4 games this week and if you are in need of three pointers this week Galloway is averaging 2 of them a night to go along with 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and just over 1 assists while averaging 27 minutes a night. Nice shooting from the field (46%) and not so nice from the line (67%) and Galloway is available in just over 60 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

SG/SF: Joe Johnson and the Brooklyn Nets have 4 games this week and while Johnson has seen better days his current ones haven't been that bad; over his past 5 games Johnson is averaging 13 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6 assists while playing 34 minutes a night. His shooting percentages are awful so you Roto league owners probably could look elsewhere but his numbers overall are solid enough to take a gamble on him. Johnson is currently available in just over 50 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

Good luck this week Fantasy Basketball owner!
