NHL expansion: Seattle groups didn't get it done

None of the prospective NHL investment groups applied to the NHL for expansion before today's deadline.

The deadline to apply for NHL expansion came and went today at 2pm. Did any Seattle area groups apply? No. No they didn't.

Also, for Victor Coleman and other investors who might have been hoping to turn their homework late, the answer also seems to be no.

So what next for hockey fans in Seattle? I don't know what to tell you.
