In other news....
The Chiefs dropped an important game against the Portland Winterhawks last Friday, falling 3-2 despite outshooting the Hawks 39-18. The loss drops Spokane to the second wild card playoff spot. They are three points behind Portland and five points up on Tri-City.
The Chiefs hop on the bus this week for a tough game at the WHL-leading Lethbridge Hurricanes on Wednesday. The Chiefs are at Kootenay on Friday, then home against the ice on Saturday.
