Hudson Elynuik, an 18-year-old forward, is ranked no. 122 on the NHL's mid-term rankings from Central Scouting.
Elynuik, who has battled injuries in his time in Spokane but has recently had the opportunity to get more ice time, was given a "C" rating in Central Scouting's "Players to Watch" list at the beginning of the season.
The "C" rating and 122 slot puts Elynuik anywhere from rounds 4-6.
Elynuik came to Spokane two seasons ago with tremendous upside. His body is starting to round out and his injuries have held him back, but Central Scouting certainly sees the potential in him, it seems.
One notable player not on the list is Evan Fiala, the Chief's 18-year-old defenseman. Fiala played for the Florida Panthers' development camp last summer and has 13 points so far this season.
