I hope the moderators are okay with me posting here and no one is offended. I've created a fantasy basketball league called Seasoned Fries. It's completely free and just for fun. I've posted about it and recruited players from Sactown Royalty, Golden State of Mind, Blazer's Edge, and Sonics Rising.
Five teams in the West and five in the East for ten teams total in the league. Only four make the playoffs. Scoring is head-to-head each category, and I include the standard ones (PTS, BLK, STL, AST, REB, 3PM, FT%) plus the highly undervalued STR (not Sactown Royalty, but "Steals to Turnover" ratio), AFG% (adjusted field goal %, which accounts for the greater value of the treys), and TO* (turnovers* indicates that a lower score is desirable). Roster size = thirteen, with ten starters and three on bench. Free agents are acquired through auction. Lineup changes are only allowed weekly because this is a friendly league and I don't want it to become too much of an obsession!
The twist is that all teams will be named after real NBA teams and I'd like to have at least one real player from the corresponding real team on each fantasy team. If all goes well, there will be three keepers from year to year. I also end the season a week early so that the playoffs end the week prior to the end of the real NBA season because we all know that certain teams that will be out of contention are resting their players for that final week. Plus, it will be time just to focus on the epic No. 1 Warriors vs No 8. Kings real life playoff match-up coming up, right? (Well, a man can dream, can't he?)

Before choosing this league, understand the twist: you have to choose a real team from the list below and have to choose the selected player in the first round of the draft so that the teams all retain some semblance of what they are in real life. After the first player, you are free to draft as you please, and if we carry on to the next year, you may keep three keepers.

Note how many great players are not yet taken: Harden, Davis, CP3, both the Gasols, and so on. You can take any of them after the first round, in which you must draft the above mentioned players depending on which team you have. So email me a preference for your teams like 1. 2. 3. and I will try to give you your first choice, if possible. I will update this post with information about which teams remain.
